Privacy Policy

I, Beth Foster, am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.

When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order or deal with any queries you have related to that order. 

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

How to order

You can order online securely with payments made through PayPal where you can pay by credit card or PayPal account. To place an order by email (for instance to pay by cheque) please use the 'Contact us' form to contact me to discuss the details.


I aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible and most deliveries within the UK mainland will arrive within 7 days, but please allow up to 14 days. For special requests that are made to order you will be advised of a delivery time before I take payment. Most orders are sent by Royal Mail First, you will be notified in the Order Confirmation/Dispatch email if any other delivery method is to be used.

Sadly I only offer UK deliveries online at the moment, if your address is overseas please email me for a quote using the contact form, as additional delivery charges will apply.

If an item you have received is damaged please inform me as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hrs of delivery.


It's really important to me that you like what you order, if for any reason it doesn't meet with your expectation, or an order has been placed in error, please don't hesitate to contact me to arrange a return or exchange.

Distance selling regulations apply so you have 7 working days after receiving an item to request a refund and return it, in the same condition it was sent out.  A refund will be issued for the items on their safe return, I will not however make a refund for the outgoing postage unless the items are not as described or damaged (in which case a full refund will be given), and the return postage cost is also your responsibility. If the items are received back damaged (other than postal damage) then only a part refund will be made, items not received back will not be refunded so a 'proof of posting' certificate as minimum is recommended for your own benefit (please check with Royal Mail how much compensation you will get, should your return package go missing, as you will be responsible for making this claim).

Some products have small parts (eg beads and buttons), these are not suitable for children under 36 months and as all products are handmade in very small batches, slight variations may occur from the product photographed.
